SBC churches asked to find and end sex abuse among congregations February 22, 2007

In this Washington Post article (here), the sad story of abuse in the church is addressed.  The article explains, “The Chicago-based Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests has started a campaign to call attention to alleged sex abuse committed by Southern Baptist ministers and concealed by churches. SNAP presented a letter Monday to Southern Baptist Convention executive committee members in Nashville.”

I am experiencing too much grief and disgust at this moment to write anything but my expression of thankfulness for this victim’s boldness to step forward and make these charges public and to ask God, as the just and justifier of sin, to make all thing right.  Maranatha. (HT: DB).
