Thanks for Nothing November 23, 2006

During this season of thanks, I want to take time to reflect on the times that the Lord takes special care over every area of my life and His creation.  For my family, the ministry, and for all things good, the Lord deserves praise.  Beyond that, He also deserves worship for the areas of our lives we often forget.  He cares for the falling sparrow because He is the sovereign Lord, and deserves our thanks for all things–even when we think it may be “nothing.”  Be careful to give Him “thanks for nothing” today.  Give Him thanks “without ceasing” and you will find that you see His work more vividly and more powerfully than ever.

Happy Thanksgiving 2006
