Russell Moore, good friend and dean of the school of theology at SBTS, gave testimony today (Thursday, June 7, 2007) before the U. S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works. As director for the C. F. H. Henry Institute for Evangelical Engagement, he made a statement and took questions before a Full Committee hearing entitled, “An Examination of the Views of Religious Organizations Regarding Global Warming.”

Throughout, Russ clearly and powerfully defined the role of evangelicals to make clear the mission of the church as well as the biblical call to exercise and engage our rights as citizens of this republic.
